BIENVENIDA WELCOME

Música, danza, colorido, armonía, convivencia……. Sin lugar a duda son palabras que se siente durante la primera quincena de Agosto en el Festival Folklórico de los Pueblos del Mundo de Extremadura, uno de los festivales más conocidos en toda España por su popularidad y su duración, donde nos acompañan grupos de los cinco continentes, actividad importante dentro de las organizadas por la Federación Extremeña de Folklore.

Sentimientos a flor de piel durante todo el festival, sentimientos de gratitud y satisfacción que me llenan de orgullo cada vez más, día a día, edición tras edición. Momentos extraordinarios de convivencia, con cada uno de los integrantes de cada delegación, a quién recibimos con los brazos abiertos.

Equipo humano y trabajador que conforman un maravilloso Comité Técnico, que hacen, a su vez, que dicho Festival sean aún más grande en todos los aspectos, posicionándolo como una de las referencias culturales más consolidadas del verano en toda Extremadura.

Orgullosa de ello, es un honor poder dirigir este Festival con ayuda de este Comité y de toda la Junta Directiva de la Federación Extremeña de Folklore, festival que seguiremos organizando cada año con más fuerza, para que nuestro folklore y el de todos los países que nos visitan lleguen a todos los rincones de nuestra linda Extremadura y nuestra vecina Portugal.

Music, dance, color, harmony, conviviality ....... Undoubtedly these are words that you feel during the first fortnight of August in the Folklore Festival of the Peoples of the World of Extremadura, one of the best known festivals in Spain for its popularity and duration, where we are accompanied by groups from five continents, an important activity within those organized by the Extremadura Federation of Folklore.

Feelings of gratitude and satisfaction that fill me with pride more and more, day after day, edition after edition. Extraordinary moments of coexistence, with each of the members of each delegation, whom we received with open arms.

Human and hard-working team that make up a wonderful Technical Committee, which in turn, make this Festival even bigger in all aspects, positioning it as one of the most consolidated cultural references of the summer in Extremadura.

Proud of it, it is an honor to be able to direct this Festival with the help of this Committee and the whole Board of Directors of the Extremadura Folklore Federation, a festival that we will continue to organize every year with more strength, so that our folklore and that of all the countries that visit us reach all the corners of our beautiful Extremadura and our neighboring Portugal.
